What we use
This website uses technically necessary local storage in your browser. Google Analytics 4 and its cookies are activated only after you expressly consent to the "Statistics" category:
- Appearance (light or dark): remembers your preferred display. Necessary/functional, kept until you clear it.
- Language setting: remembers your chosen language. Necessary/functional, kept until you clear it.
- Cookie choices ("hw-consent"): stores your decision in the consent banner together with the time and version. Necessary, kept until you clear or reset it.
- "_ga": set by Google Analytics after statistics consent to distinguish users pseudonymously; by default up to two years.
- "_ga_M24D1RW9KH": set by Google Analytics after statistics consent to maintain session state; by default up to two years.
Categories governed by the consent manager
Our consent banner distinguishes four categories. Optional categories are off by default and only become active after your express agreement:
- Necessary: essential for the website to work, always active and cannot be switched off.
- Functional & preferences: additional comfort settings. Not active at present.
- Statistics: audience measurement with Google Analytics 4. The Google tag is loaded only after you consent.
- Marketing: personalised content and advertising. No service is currently embedded.
Google Analytics & Consent Mode v2
We use Basic Consent Mode v2. Before you consent, the Google tag is fully blocked: no analytics requests are sent to Google and no analytics cookies are set. Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after consent to "Statistics". Advertising storage, advertising personalisation, Google signals and the transmission of user data for advertising remain disabled.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal (GPC), we treat statistics and marketing as rejected by default. You can withdraw consent at any time; further measurement is then blocked and accessible analytics cookies are deleted.
Change your choices
You can adjust or withdraw your cookie choices at any time: click "Cookie settings" in the footer. This reopens the preferences window with the categories. Alternatively you can clear the local storage in your browser settings; the consent banner will then appear again on your next visit.
